I figured I'd post what was wrong and how I fixed it for other allante owners. When I bought the car this is what was scanned(below). The car had what felt to be a constant dead cylinder(miss), idled erratic, rarely stalled when switching gears from reverse to drive. After clearing all the history, the only code that came back was E046. We ohm tested the injectors and found 2 of them to be way under spec, the others between 11.8-13.3. We replaced all injectors with Bosch from Fuel Injector Connection. The car was now running on all 8, but had an erractic idle and through a E041 code. We replaced the cam sensor in distributor and it ran great, no codes, Perfect! so I drove to the tire store and spent money for all new tires, gave my friend a ride, then later in the day, E041 again! and the erractic idle was back! Put a new cam sensor it, fixed again, well for 2 days this time, erractic idle again and a E041 again! So I ended up buying a whole new distributor, it's been fine for 2 weeks now. I'm enjoying code free life for the time being. Next week we will be installing new shocks and struts.
