Just purchased the above vehicle. When I drove it, I noticed the brake warning light coming on whenever the brakes were applied. Immediately put it in the nearest GM garage and also asked them to flush the system.
Later on I found online info page about Allante ABS. Talked to the garage - they are not familiar with the car and its systems. They flushed the system. Now the pedal goes all the way to the floor. Went with them through the routine of bleeding the system correctly - still pedal goes to the floor. They thought the problem was with the master cylinder and had it rebuilt.
I ran the ABS tests when I visited the garage. After depressurizing the accumulator, it took about 22 sec for the pump to stop pumping and 35 times to gain little pressure again (it won't get more than that), in the pedal. I should state that the pedal and brakes applications were good before I put it in the garage.
Any idea?
